Happy Christmas week! Here’s hoping you’re winding down some of the preparations and enjoying time with family and friends as everyone starts rolling in for the holidays. Here are some links some of the most interesting news in adoption this week:

This holiday, in Jacksonville, Florida, 27 kids experienced their very own Christmas miracle when they were adopted into 13 different families just in time for the holiday. Love stories like this!
Here’s more about the new Ohio law that will be unsealing old adoption records so adoptees can have access to their birth information. What do you think? Should all states allow this right?
A new study explores why Americans don’t opt for adoption more often.
It’s no question that international adoption practices have faced a variety of criticisms. From unethical practices to the basic, inherent challenges in making it happen, it is a widespread issue that is desperately calling for reform. The Australian government has heard their citizens’ pleas to make the process easier, and are creating a task force to figure out how this problem can be solved.
And here’s a gem we found over on Adoption Building Families’s Facebook page. I have to say…sometimes we agree!
