Happy Halloween!

Depending on where you’re from, you either went trick-or-treating last night or are gearing up to celebrate tonight. In either case, we hope you’ve enjoyed celebrating the season, and spending quality time with your kids. We’ve received some great photos of little trick-or-treaters that we want to share:

Ben the Bumblebee!

Billie is an adorable baby ladybug!
Pumpkin patches were popular this year! Ellie, hanging out with some pretty big pumpkins.

If you’re still figuring out how to celebrate tonight, here are a few tricks and treats to share with your family:

— Check out these great Jack-o-lantern patterns for carving from the Des Moines Register!

— Do you have older kids who enjoy haunted houses and scarier attractions? The Sleepy Hollow Haunted Scream Park will be running through tonight.

— Feel like a Halloween workout? Try this Halloween climbing event in Grimes!

— The Pella Wildlife Company is hosting an exciting Halloween event that looks to be both educational AND fun: treats and live animal interactions!

— The Jordan Creek town center is hosting an excellent Kid’s Fest: shop, dine, drink and enjoy family-friendly Halloween activities!

—Head on over to Sherman Hill for a haunted can food drive!

Either way, there’s lots of great options for sharing the holiday with your family. Be safe, have fun, and don’t forget to send your photos this way!
