Kayleigh

I have a degree in biology, and an advanced degree in business. I love spending time creating- either sewing, baking, or gardening with my husband and dogs.

Robert

I grew up spending as much time as possible outside, and still like to be outside when I’m not at work. I am very handy, always doing things around the house or helping family.

Qualified for Adoption

Hi! We have been foster parents since 2017, but are ready to bring a child permanently into our home. We love hiking, visiting museums, and spending time together with our two dogs. We have two nephews and a niece that we love endlessly, and would love nothing more than to have a child of our own.

Our Story

We met in college when we worked for the same bank in a small town. We dated for a few years and are celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary this year. We’ve built our relationship on being best friends and spending everyday getting the most out of life together. We make life easy for each other by equally contributing to household tasks, and enjoy spending all of our free time together. With our previous foster kiddos, this has led to the whole family doing everything from household chores to zoo trips together.

Our Holidays

Our biggest joys center around holidays. While all holidays are exciting for us, Christmas is the biggest. With our previous foster kids, we decorated the house together, made gingerbread cookies, and celebrated Christmas Eve with matching pajamas and special bed-time stories. On Christmas morning, the whole house had a festive feel while the kids opened gifts, we ate treats, and drank our coffee (and hot chocolate for the kids). Outside of Christmas, we always do the most for the kiddos in our lives to make every holiday as fun and special as possible.

Our Traditions

We are excited to pass on lessions and traditions to our child. We have had such a fun time with previous foster kiddos, watching them grow and learn and become amazing people. Being a child’s biggest surrporter is such a fun jb and we can’t wait to do it for your kiddo. The values we’ve built parenting on include being open and honest, treating everyone in the home with love and respect, and the kids should have the freedom to try and experience new things. We can’t wait to parent our own child with these values and teaching them the lessons that come with growing up and exploring the world.
