There are a lot of harmful perspectives about foster care that need and deserve to be changed. It’s dangerous to the children in the system who have to deal with these stigmas and the people who make base assumptions about who they are or what their life is like, simply because they’re in foster care. This young man has a lot to share, and we’re so glad to see someone from inside that world addressing the issue.

This is an interesting article written by a funeral home director on the funeral rituals he’s seen performed for stillborn children, including naming them and planning their funeral. He seems to be a very strong advocate of this, although we don’t believe that his urgings are the only way to handle a miscarriage.
