Adoption News Roundup

We were struck by the mix of helpful, empowering, and enlightening articles we had the pleasure of reading last week. It’s always nice to see parents and professionals sharing tips and thoughts as means of helping and connecting parents and the global adoption community. That might seem like a bold way of thinking about a simple article share, but adoption is filled with unknowns, and the more people share their experiences the more others can prepare and ready for their own.

The piece went viral, and discusses the unfair stigmas assigned to those who are HIV-positive. It’s very powerful, and we applaud her courage and bravery — both in sharing her story as well as rising above stereotypes to give two children a life they undoubtedly deserve.
