Adoption Reads: Finding Fernanda

We love sharing new adoption books with you guys, and when this one crossed out radar, we knew it was definitely one to add to the list.

Finding Fernanda is the story of two mothers who are caught in an illegal adoption scam, one in the United States and one in Guatemala — both in love with the same little girl, wanting to make her a part of their family.

These stories are always so powerful, because they show the lengths to which people will go to show a child love — that families are not only built from blood.

Click on the link above to read an excerpt from the book — we can’t wait to grab our copy. Definitely a read that all adoptive parents can relate to, even if your adoption hasn’t been affected negatively like these women.
What adoption books will you be reading on your time off over the holidays?
