I was adopted from Texas in 1997 when I was a month old. I grew up in Maine, spending my summers on the ocean. After highschool I went directly into the workforce working on private yachts. My husband, then boyfriend joined, where we worked for 6 years. James and I have been married since 2020, together since 2015. We both now work for the family business and are very close with my family, as most live close by. We recently built a house in 2024 and have the cutest dog named Marina. Both my husband and I are very excited for the next step in our life of adding a baby to our family.
I was born in Chicago, my parents moved to Maine to slow down due to my dad’s MS. Grade school and high school in Maine was a great experience. Even though I didn’t graduate college I met some of my closest friends that I keep in regular contact with. I met my best friend and now wife. We got a leg up from working together on private boats for 6 years and got an amazing start to help shape our future.
There are not enough words for us to express our gratitude for your sacrifice to let us love and raise your baby. We have spent lots of time discussing and researching both adoption and parenting in general. We feel our home and support system would be a nurturing environment to raise a family and will try to provide them with many opportunities. Having been adopted myself(Amanda), I have no worries about bonding and loving the baby and accepting them into our stable home with open arms.
