Charles

I have my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and work at a large manufacturing company as an Engineering Manager. I love being active and doing anything from swimming, to hiking, camping, fishing and really anything outdoors. I also enjoy doing CrossFit weekly. My wife and I love to play music together. I play piano, guitar, and cello and play on the worship team at church with my wife. I also enjoy doing woodworking. Heather and I spent the last 5 years or so flipping houses and are now settled on our small homestead. We enjoy doing home improvement projects together.

I went to a small Christian university where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Pre-Professional Health Sciences. I went on to earn my master’s degree in Audiology. I am a stay-at-home/homeschool mom. I intend to homeschool all of our children to better help them develop and grow in those things they naturally excel in, and to help them overcome those things in which they struggle. We are part of a homeschool co-op as well as a friend group of other homeschool moms who get together weekly. I run a small interior design business from home and sell home made items in a local store. I love to paint and cook and love doing anything creative with Judah. We love to play tennis together as a family. We also enjoy swimming and hiking. Our favorite thing to do as a family is play music and sing together. We have a small homestead where we garden and have chickens, bake gluten free sourdough, and cherish the simple things.

To be given the opportunity to love and care for a child as our own would truly be so special. We would like to take a moment to share a little about ourselves and about the life we hope to be able to share with your child. We have one son who was our miracle. After many losses through miscarriage, we deeply cherish our role as parents. We desire for our children to feel whole heartedly loved by their parents. We hope to raise your child to have integrity, to be honest and kind, and to make the world and their community a better place. Our Christian faith guides us in every aspect of life and we will instill Christian values and will encourage them in their faith as they grow and mature. We will also help them develop their natural abilities and interests and do all we can do to help them succeed. We promise to be open and honest with your child about their adoption story and to share with them the immense love they have from both their birth parents and adoptive parents. We promise to pay close attention to the hopes and dreams of your child and help encourage and help them fulfill all they wish to accomplish in life.
