Help Save the Adoption Tax Credit

We get a lot of questions about defraying the costs of adoption – why it’s so expensive, how to save money in the adoption process and what families can do to afford adoption especially if they don’t necessarily have the means. Right now, one of the most prominent ways to save money in the adoption process – the adoption tax credit – is slated to dissolve come January 1, 2013.

This would be devastating to many families, who can save well over $10,000 with the adoption tax credit, and it’s important that we take a stand to keep this tax benefit viable. Watch this video below from the National Council for Adoption and be sure to contact your state representatives as soon as possible. We believe that this can be overturned but everyone must take part!
