National Adoption Day PSA

This is a wonderful PSA we found about National Adoption Day, where the Millner Family, and National Adoption Day spokesperson, Willie Garson, open up about adoption.

In celebration of National Adoption Day, courtrooms across the country were filled on Saturday with children and parents looking to become families through adoption. Some courts legalized as many as 73 adoptions in one day!

Here are some of the wonderful stories:

District 26 in Washington, D.C. legalized 34 adoptions, including those of “the District’s neediest children.”

Broward County in Florida created over 20 families this weekend.

73(!!) children found homes in a Forth Worth ceremony!

19 Rhode Island children joined 16 families on Saturday.

And these are just a few of the incredible stories being shared all across the country. We cannot express how wonderful it is to not only see so many people aware of National Adoption Day, and to see that it is being so widely celebrated, but to know that so many families are being created and children who have been desperately craving families are being given homes. This is truly the spirit of the season – a perfect way to begin Thanksgiving week!
