Reuniting

We’ve been following a lot of stories in the news recently about families that have reunited post-adoption, and we wanted to share some of our favorites. It’s one of the things we love so much about adoption — families come in so different ways, and it’s incredible to read about individuals and families discovering and rediscovering love throughout their lives.

1. Susan Walton discovers 9 long-lost siblings living just miles away from her. At 64 she went from an only child, to the oldest of ten. Incredible!

2. Rick Noize and Orion Knee discover that they are brothers, 57 years after Noize’s adoption.

3. Minka Disbrow reunites with her daughter 77 after placing her adoption after she was raped as teen.

4. Helen Wright, an adopted woman, finally locates her family on a genealogy website.
