Complete the Birthmother Application
If you’re looking to “give your baby up” for adoption to the perfect parents, your journey begins with our online birthmother application. Our simple form requests some basic information, and it will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. We’ll ask for details regarding your background, adoption preferences, monthly expenses and more.
We Present Prospective Adoptive Families
Once you complete the application form, our agency will send you an information packet to fill out and return to us. After you’re approved, we’ll give you a list of prospective adoptive families that match the standards and requirements indicated on your application.
Unlike other agencies, we do not typically use “Dear Birthmother” letters in the adoption procedure. We’ve found that the strongest matches don’t come from decisions based on photos and images of the adoptive family, but rather their personal qualities and characteristics.
Meet Any Family You Desire
After we compile an assortment of potential families, you can choose to chat with any of the listed couples. We’ll organize a conference call with each family you’re interested in, where you will get a chance to ask questions and generally get to know your prospective pairings. After each call, your coordinator will get in touch with you to discuss your impressions of the family and help you determine if they’re a great fit to raise your child.
If you find that you’re not completely satisfied with the family you spoke to or simply want to look at more options to ensure you make the right choice, no problem! We want you to feel confident and excited about your decision. Our agency will continue to find families and coordinate calls until you’re positive you’ve found an adoptive family that’s perfect for you.

Once you’ve chosen a family, you’ll both exchange contact information, and the baby adoption process will begin. You will have the chance to communicate with your chosen family whenever you please and contact Abby’s with questions at any time. We’ll also check in periodically to make sure that the process is going as smoothly as possible for you.
